Lung Detoxing Tea
This detoxing protocol not only helps clear the lungs of particulate matters, it turns out it is a GREAT detoxing tool for all sorts of reasons. Just like anything that is good for your body, it is not enough to simply consume it just one time. For it to be effective, it is best if it is part of your daily routine. It’s my daily ritual to detox, nourish and protect my body from viruses, spike proteins and cross contamination potentials. I make a fresh batch of tea every morning and drink it continuously throughout the day. It is so essential that I carry the herbs with me even when traveling out of country.
The herbs in his tea delivers powerful plant healing intelligence AND tastes good. It provides tons of antioxidants while helping your body naturally detox. And of course, it has to taste good. If it doesn’t taste good, you most likely won’t be consuming for long.
Some of the herbs above may be used to protect self against Spike Protein. See some of the benefits and protection each herb provides in description below.
Did I say it is DELISH. Don’t let the power of the herb fool you thinking that it is going to taste medicinally.
I was brought up drinking tea after every meal. I started adding different herbs when in November of 2018 my community went through a devastating wild fire. I went on a quest to find all sorts of detoxing protocols that were practical (affordable and doable), effective AND natural.
Besides the immediate effects of smoke inhalation, there were major future side effects to consider from these fires.
The fine particles of burned materials (formaldyhide, VOCs, asbestos etc from homes, apartment and businesses) in airborne carcinogen smoke embed themselves into our lungs, causing burning and irritation in the short term, and more problems in the future.
Soon after the fire broke out, it became apparent that detoxing was essential. So I went into hyper research mode.
After consulting with herbalists and tea specialist, I learned what to brew for what length of time. It turns out that timing of the brew and how soon after brewing before drinking it makes a difference on what kind of taste it draws out from the herb. With some herbs, the longer you brew it, the more bitter it taste. Some herbs are so gentle that all they need is to be brewed for a moment. Others need more brewing time to draw out the healing properties. These herbs together work magically and effectively towards cleansing, protecting and improving respiratory system, the body, attack cancer cells, and ramp up the immune system with powerful antioxidants.
By taking our time and doing things the way that in alignment with our needs, we end up saving time and agony of chasing after our health down the road.
- 1 tablespoon Fennel Seed
- 1 tablespoon Rooibos tea optional. This is a great base. It makes the tea taste palatable against all the bitter flavors of the rest of the ingredients.
- 1 teaspoon Black seed
- 1 tablespoon Plantain leaf
- 1 tablespoon Nettle Stinging Leaf
- 1 tablespoon Pau D'Arco
- 1 tablespoon dandelion use whole (root, stem and flower) dandelion if possible
- 1 dried seedless jujube optional
- 2 cardamom optional
- 1/4 teaspoon Reishi powder optional
- 1/4 teaspoon Essiac optional
- 1 teaspoon Elecampane root optional
- 1/4 teaspoon licorice root optional. avoid after 3 p.m
- 1 teaspoon peppermint leaf optional
Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil in a steel or cast iron pot for 15 minutes. Add herbs to each pot then cover with a lid. Allow the tea that needs to be steeped for a longer period of time to be steeped for at least 1/2 hour on low heat. Depending on your protocol or dietary guideline, you may or may not want or be able to sweeten it with honey or Jujube Bring 3 cups of water to boil then let it cool for 10 minutes before adding the herbs. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes. It is best to consume the tea that need to be steep separately for shorter time soon after it has been steeped. For me, when it is steeped for more than 1/2 hour, it tastes bitter.
Get as many ingredients as you can. I make different variations of it. If I run out of an ingredients, I still make a batch with other herbs. The most important ones for me to have is fennel and rooibos.
With some herbs, the longer you brew it, the more bitter it taste. Some herbs are so gentle that all they need is to be brewed for a moment. Others need more brewing time to draw out the healing properties. That is why the recipe is divided into two "Tea to be steeped for longer period". I add a little bit of the tea (with herbs that need to be steeped for shorter period of time) to my cup for a few seconds.
I make a fresh batch of tea (that needs to be steeped for a longer period of time ) every morning and allow the herbs to steep all day long, drinking from it continuously throughout the day.
Because licorice may have an energizing effect, I don't blend it in the tea after 3 p.m.
And because peppermint becomes bitter shortly after steeping, I usually add that separately (through a tea strainer) to my tea.
Cistus incanus is another great herb that is antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal.
Dandelion is your friend. Yes, those annoying, “useless” weeds everyone wants to get rid of in order to have the nicest grass in the neighborhood. You either use the whole plant, the roots, or just buy (very affordable) dried dandelion tea in bulk (get both dandelion leaf and root, root powder is harder to manage). The common Dandelion has a very important new role — a very important one. Dandelion has Spike Protein Blocking Capability & Antiplatelet Action. Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) efficiently Blocks the Interaction Between ACE2 Cell Surface Receptor And SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein D614. This means infection of the lung cells using SARS-CoV-2 was efficiently prevented by a water-based dandelion extract (basically a tea). While science waits to confirm clinical evidence, follow the natural laws provided by mother nature to help you keep the balance in your body so that your divinely designed body can do the work of protecting you against harm.
Fennel not only tastes great but it’s a powerful medicine. Because of its shikimic acid content , fennel is a kind of “miracle” molecule that may prove incredibly useful for halting blood clots and defending people from respiratory infections. Shikimic acid is the basis for Tamiflu, and it’s molecule found in Chinese Medicine herb Star Anise, that cures plagues. Tamiflu is the world’s most widely used antiviral drug for treating swine flu, bird flu and seasonal influenza. The major source of shikimic acid now are fennel, Star anise and pine needle. The research has been funded from a variety of sources, including ResearchGate, the Maine Technology Institute, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Science Foundation and the university’s chemistry department.
Black seed has been shown in studies to have antiviral, antioxidant, antiinflammatory and immune modulator properties.
The following herbs used in this tea contain anti-inflammatory and/or lung supporting properties:
(Steep separately for shorter time)
Nettle Stinging Leaf
Dried Seedless Jujube
These herbs together work magically and effectively towards cleansing, protecting and improving respiratory system. Many of these herbs detoxifies the body, attacks cancer cells, and ramps up the immune system with powerful antioxidants.
Rooibos is a great base. It makes the tea taste palatable against all the bitter flavors of the rest of the ingredients.
It would be optimum if the herbs are certified organic or ethically wildcrafted and US-grown.
