Cucumber Herbed Yogurt
Creamy and packed with flavor! This is a cooling addition to a nice spicy, warm meal. Or quickly mix this up and dollop on your kabobs and serve with rice. The yogurt will add some beneficial bacteria into your meal. The cucumbers add a refreshing touch.
- 1 32 oz plain organic whole yogurt
- 5 cucumber Persian, organic, cubed
- 1 tbsp dried mint
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried tarragon
- 1 tbsp granulated onion
- 1 1/2 cloves garlic minced, or 1/2 Tbsp dried garlic
- 1 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 3/4 tsp real salt
- 1/2 tsp rose bud flowers
- 1 3/4 tsp cumin for decoration
- 1 3/4 tsp dried mint for decoration
In a medium bowl, stir together all the ingredients. Refrigerate for at least an hour to blend the flavors. This step is not necessary. Decorate with dried mint and cumin when ready to consume.
Note: Please don’t stress if you do not have one of the spices. You can use dried dill or dried cumin as a substitute or additionally.
