Acai Berry Bowl
Here is an invigorating superfood breakfast or snack. The berries in this Acai Berry Bowl provide a low-glycemic fruit base with fiber that will keep blood sugar levels even.
Berries are full of vitamin C, manganese, fiber, copper and vitamin K.
The coconut milk adds a little bit of sweetness and a creamy consistency.
Acai berries add antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids.
- 1 pack acai berries Sambazon Acai Berry super pack
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup coconut milk Native Forest Simple
- 1/4 cup strawberries blueberries and/or other fruit
- 2 Tbsp organic maple syrup
- 1 pinch real salt optional
- almond butter
- Few slice bananas and/or strawberries
- coconut flakes optional
- PaleoKrunch instead of granola
Place all the base ingredients in the blender (I use Vitamix) and blend until smooth. Serve with all, some or none of the toppings.
